I have not tried either of these two for video astronomy and all my experience is based on watching TV with them. You can get this one on ebay for around $300 for a brand new. These are very comfortable to wear but the picture resolution, field of view and most important black are nothing compared to SONY HMZ. I also have an accupix mybud 3d viewer which is made in Korea.
There are also Sony HMZ-T3W which are wireless but they cost around $700-800 Used Sony HMZ-T2 are sold for $250-300 on ebay. The good thing though it seems that in a new case from the google cardboard glasses I could get a field of view bigger so there is less door effect than in the original Sony case design. It is not so bulky now and much easier to wear but I am getting tired with them sitting on my face for more than 20-30 minutes. I have taken all electronics and displays from it and put it in a plastic google cardboard case. I have their T2 version along with a wireless HDMI receiver and sender. The only problem with Sony HMZ that they are very uncomfortable to wear. They have perfect black colour which may be critical for dark sky.
